Principal

It’s a great day to be a KNIGHT!  I consider it an honor and privilege to be the principal at South Beauregard High School, a school that is built on the tradition of academic excellence, strong character, and a wealth of co-curricular and extracurricular offerings.  I believe that we are all partners and share a common goal---to provide a safe, happy and rigorous learning experience for all students who enter the doors of South Beauregard High School.  It is our goal that all students experience an education that meets their academic, social, emotional, and physical needs.  The administration, faculty and staff remain dedicated to providing our students with a nurturing atmosphere that a small school setting provides while also providing extensive academic and elective course offerings that can only be provided in larger schools.  Our teachers pride themselves on preparing our students to be college and career ready and empowering them with the knowledge and skills necessary for them to achieve their maximum potential in post-secondary pursuits.  Students can expect to be challenged by a dedicated and experienced teaching staff, along with rigorous coursework and activities.

A well-rounded high school experience includes active participation in activities outside of the classroom. Our athletic programs, academic competition teams, band program, student government, JROTC program and many student clubs and organizations offer opportunities for students with a wide variety of interests.  We are committed to providing a safe, challenging, and positive environment that promotes respect, productivity, and active participation in school activities.

We truly believe that communication is the key to a successful educational experience for all students.  Students benefit as parents and guardians are involved in their learning.  You, as a parent, are a valuable component to your child’s education.  It is important for us to keep the lines of communication open between home and school.  We must work as a team to guide your child toward success!  Please know that we welcome your involvement and we need your involvement and support to provide your child with the best education possible.  You are welcome to contact me with questions, concerns, or feedback.  You can reach me at (337) 725-3536 ext. 11101.

All students will receive a student handbook/planner.  Please read carefully through the student handbook/planner as it contains rules, procedures, and useful information for the school year.  We are looking forward to celebrating many student achievements and having another exciting school year at South Beauregard High School, home of the Golden Knights and Lady K’s!
